FOOD from Bahau
Bahau town only situated 27km away from the Kampung Geddes. Runner can try the local taste before or after completing the "Geddes Estate Run 2015".
As for the Halal food option, Restaurant Ross Family situated next to the RHB Bank offers the local local famous Sup Ayam (Chicken Soup), is one of the must try location for the Muslim runner to refuel before or after the race.
There is also famous Thai and Kelantan cuisine located opposite of the Railway station called "Wan Tom Yam".
Meanwhile, as for the Chinese food option, the famous hawker center （小贩中心） in Bahau Town offered fantastic thrill of taste, included "Ami Laksa", "Wan Tao Long" （云头浪）and "Chau Kui Tiao" (炒粿条）are among the local favourite.
Place of Interest
Ulu Bendul Recreation
Situated 16 km from Seremban on the way to Kuala Pilah / Sri Menanti, this recreation garden is surrounded by mountains an ideal spot to relax away from the bustling town. Lying near the foot of the 2500 ft Mount Angsi, fresh water from the streams flows into the man made lake.
This recreational park was built in 1972 and is located at compartments 45 and 52 of the Angsi Forest Reserve (Hutan Simpan Angsi) in Negeri Sembilan. Located 200 m above sea level, the forest is categorised as the main attraction here with the summit reaching to 825 m above sea level. There are long-cabin for mountain climbers, tracks for hikers and jungle paths for the adventures.
Istana Seri Menanti
One of the famous landmarks in Negeri Sembilan. It is a timber palace constructed between 1902 to 1908.[1] Today, the palace has been turned into a royal museum. This four-storey building is special because it was constructed without using any nails.[2] Hardwood rods were instead used to piece the timber together. The roof of this palace represents a buffalo's horns. The buffalo horns are widely regarded as the protective symbol of the palace.
